Item management

This section allows you to define the application settings for loans and statistics.

• media types lets you set up the various loan options, including loan period in days.
• statistical codes are used for compiling statistics on loans and the library collections.
• sections are sub-divisions of your library (adults, teenagers, etc. or otherwise organized) where items are available on loan or for consultation. This code is also used for statistics purposes.
• status is used to specify the availability of items, that is, whether they can be borrowed or not from the library.
• locations may be used to assign items to specific areas of the library (for example: reserve).
• lenders the owners of the library materials like a Public Library.
• custom fields for copies.
