Imports' Administration

Here you can manage volumes or items imports.

The precedure use the following steps :

• Definition of the parameters of importation :
  Concerning volumes :
  • ISBN mandatory
  • split on ISBN (if so, existing volumes will not be created)
  • volumes updates (on same ISBN)
  • Ignorer les ISSN (pour les périodiques)
  • Statut de notices (afin d'identifier finement les notices importées)
  Concerning items :
  • lender (ex : departemental library)
  • item status (ex : "importing")
  • item's location
  • Code mandatory
  • Correspondance between 995 conding and you funds for materials, statisticl codes and sections
• file uploading,
• Import volumes or items,
• concerning items, checking of imports for correspondance between the import and the book received.

This last checking is fast and can be carried out by scanning barcode
