 The "Learn" Modes

Orca has two modes for learning more about Orca's commands: Learn Mode and List Shortcuts Mode. In Learn Mode, Orca will announce each keystroke you pressed along with any associated Orca command that keystroke is bound to. List Shortcuts Mode provides you with a list of all the Orca commands you can use.

Using Learn Mode

Get into Learn Mode by pressing Orca Modifier H.

Press any key or keystroke. Orca will announce the keys and any associated command.

Press Esc to exit Learn Mode.

 Using List Shortcuts Mode

Get into List Shortcuts Mode by pressing Orca Modifier H twice quickly.

Press 1 if you want a list of shortcuts that apply Orca-wide, or press 2 if you want a list of shortcuts that are specifically for the application with focus.

Press Up or Down to examine the contents of the list.

Press Esc to exit List Shortcuts Mode.
